Mbang Timchia Barnabas is an Economist with a fairly rich professional career in different walks of life.  On graduating from the University of Yaoundé  with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics Sciences (Licence en Sciences Economique; Specialite , Gestions Des Entreprises) ; He went into teaching Mathematics and Economics in a couple of Secondary High Schools in Cameroon.  He later worked in the Banking and Insurance sector where he rose to the Rank of Regional Coordinator of Zenithe Insurance PLC for the Northwest and West Regions of Cameroon.  Upon leaving Zenithe he worked with The African Center for Science and International Security (AFRICSIS) in Ghana as Projects Manager. Back in Cameroon where he opened an AFRICSIS office in Yaoundé he also worked with Friend’s Kids, another NGO that takes care of orphans and vulnerable children.
